The dollar declined seven centavos Friday, closing at a selling price of 21.10 pesos at Mexico City currency exchanges. Banks purchased the dollar for a minimum of 15.98 pesos.
The euro closed at 22.33 pesos, the same closing price as Thursday, while the pound and yen closed at 26.17 pesos and 0.212 pesos, respectively.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the official exchange rate at 20.6475 pesos per dollar.
