The dollar declined one centavo to close at a selling price of 21.04 pesos Tuesday at Mexico City currency exchanges. Banks purchased the dollar for a minimum of 19.86 pesos.
The euro gained eight centavos to close at 22.37 pesos, while the pound closed at 26.70 pesos.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the official exchange rate at 20.6225 pesos per dollar.
