The dollar declined seven centavos Wednesday to close at a maximum selling price of 20.97 pesos at Mexico City currency exchanges. Banks purchased the dollar for a minimum of 19.78 pesos.
The euro declined 19 centavos to close at 22.18 pesos, while the pound and yen closed at 26.11 pesos and 0.207 pesos, respectively.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the official exchange rate at 20.5155 pesos per dollar.
