The dollar dropped 8 centavos to close at a maximum selling price of 20.81 pesos at Mexico City currency exchanges Monday. Banks purchased the dollar for a minimum of 19.62 pesos.
The euro dropped 16 centavos to close at 21.62 pesos, while the pound and yen closed at 25.70 pesos and 0.202 pesos, respectively.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the official exchange rate at 20.4098 pesos per dollar.
