The dollar rose seven centavos against the dollar on Tuesday, closing at a selling price of 18.33 pesos at Mexico City currency exchanges. Banks purchased the dollar for a minimum of 16.80 pesos.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the exchange rate at 17.993 pesos per dollar.
